1 box of Almette cream cheese (can be any other),
2 small red bell peppers,
1 tbsp. Spoon with chopped parsley,

8 strips of smoked bacon,
salt and black pepper to taste.

  • Ketchup (preferably without starch, sharp or classic - to your taste) - 2.5 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (classic) - 5 tablespoons
  • Salt (if desired, and with caution) - quite a bit, maximum shake with a salt shaker (like a “mushroom with holes”) a couple of times over each chicken breast. You can not add salt at all (we recommend this way for the first time): bacon, cheese, soy sauce are quite salty and will “give” some of their salt to chicken meat, it may seem to you that this is quite enough

Cooking:


Chicken fillet must first be washed with cold running water and blot with a paper towel or napkin. Each piece is cut into two thin plates (the knife moves in a plane parallel to the cutting board).


Then each piece of chicken fillet must be slightly repelled. At home, it is convenient to do this by stuffing the meat in a thin, clean plastic bag so that splashes do not fly through your kitchen. We beat off slightly: the chicken meat is already quite soft, our task is to make the fillet pieces more thin.


Cut the smoked cheese into small pieces (focus on the cross section with a side of about 1 cm, the length of the cheese block is approximately equal to the widest part of a piece of chicken fillet).


Put the cheese bar on the wider end of the chicken fillet and fold the roll with the cheese inside from the wide end of the piece of meat to the narrower one.


Put on the cutting board 2-3 strips of bacon close to each other (or even better slightly overlap) so that the resulting strip of bacon is close to the width of the roll, and wrap the chicken roll in bacon ( watch our video recipe!).


We put the rolls in the appropriate size and deep form for baking (it can be close to each other, it is possible at a short distance - as it will). The form can not be lubricated with anything, the bacon is quite fat, and its fat will be enough so that the rolls are not burnt.


Next, make the sauce of several ingredients: soy sauce, ketchup, cloves, pepper.


Cloves and peppercorns need to be crushed (ideally, in a mortar, if you, like us, do not have a mortar on the farm, you can just crush them on the board, for example, with mashed potatoes or some other kitchen “tool”). You can use the grinder for spices.


Crushed pepper and cloves pour in a small container, add soy sauce and ketchup. All mix until smooth.


The resulting sauce smear chicken rolls on top and from the sides (conveniently with a cooking brush, but you can also just a spoon), just leave the rest of the sauce on top.


Heat the oven to 200 degrees (this is the average heating level or slightly higher, if you do not have a thermometer in the oven, turn on the oven for 10-15 minutes before putting the mold in it). Form with rolls put in the oven at an average height on a baking sheet or on the grid. Bake for 30 minutes. Cooking chicken rolls in bacon:
